1. Today is Communion Sunday. Let us prepare ourselves spiritually by examining our own hearts under the illumination of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 11:28) Even as we partake communion together, let us give thanks and rejoice in His boundless love.
2. Church Secretary needed at Cerritos Campus. The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications: 1) A committed, mature Christian; 2) available to work full-time; 3) responsible for administration functions and working with Chinese and English documents; and 4) a team player. 3. FECC Youth Winter Retreat is coming up! Please mark your calendars for December 29-Jan 1. We will be going to Victory Ranch with our theme -Restored. Registration will be coming very soon, and please fill out the required forms December 16th.
4. SCRIPS make great holiday gifts for the people you love and appreciate! Order them early! Go to cerritos.fecc.us (under the resources tab for scrip) for a list of over 150 participating vendors. Order forms can also be emailed to scrip@fecc.us.
5. As you give thanks to God for His blessings, would you consider giving a special Thanksgiving offering this year? Please make all offering checks out to “FECC”. To differentiate this giving from the general fund and missions giving, please mark “thanksgiving offering” on your envelope or the memo line. In all ways let us give thanks and praises to our God.

1. Welcome to FECC Fullerton! As we close this Thanksgiving week, we welcome you as you join us for our celebration of the goodness and love of God, who gave us the greatest gift, His Son Jesus Christ. A special welcome to all of you who are visiting family and friends this weekend. This morning, we have the honor of having Professor Rick Cook, from Logos Evangelical Seminary, share the Word of God with us. Let us welcome him by opening our ears and hearts to what the Lord has to say to us through him. If you have any prayer requests, please let Pastor David know.
2. Personnel Announcement: We regret to announce that Karen Chan, our church secretary, is leaving her current post to pursue another career opportunity. We are grateful for her dedicated work in the last 4+ years, and we ask for God’s blessing upon her and her family in this new chapter of her life journey.
3. Church Office Administrator/Secretary (Cerritos Campus): The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications: 1) A committed, mature Christian; 2) available to work full-time; 3) responsible for administration functions and working with Chinese and English documents; and 4) a team spirit. 4. Operation Christmas Child: today is the deadline. If you did not bring your boxes, you can drop them at Samaritan’s Purse collection center in Fullerton. For more information, please go to samaritanspurse.org.

Prayer Requests: (1) for Pastor David as he is in Michigan, preaching on the East Lansing and Oakland campus services as well as Pastor Maria’s farewell ceremony.; (2) for Minister Abraham Gao as he is installed as the congregational pastor for our Oakland, MI, campus. Pray for him as he prepares to take up the role of the congregational pastor for our Oakland, MI, campus; (3) for pastoral staff as it continues to work and plan for the future of our church; (4) for the unity and stability of our church as we continue to search for our next Sr. Pastor; (5) for those who are traveling, esp. for the Thanksgiving season (Cristiana, Pastor David and others); (6) for a speedy and full recovery for those who are dealing with illness or COVID-19 (Andrea, Emilia’s father). For Our World: (a) for the shooting victims and their families in a rash of U.S. mass shootings: Chesapeake, VA (11/22), Hennessey, OK (11/20) Colorado Springs, CO (11/19), Richmond, VA (11/18), Charlottesville, VA (11/13); (b) for peace and safety for our brother and sisters, in west Iran, as some 30 anti-government protesters have been killed by security forces in Kurdish-populated cities in the past week,; (c) for the search, rescue and recovery effort in Indonesia’s West Java region, as rescuers search for earthquake survivors amid dozens of aftershocks; (d) for the families of 29 victims found in a mass grave in the northern Mzimba district, Malawi last month. The victims are likely Ethiopian immigrants; (e) for clean water, hygiene and sanitation to slow down the spread of cholera in Haiti, with over 160 deaths, 700 confirmed cases and 7,000 additional suspected cases.

1. 讀經班-詩歌書:11月14日開始,我們進入詩歌書,將研讀約伯記、詩篇、箴言、傳道書、雅歌。11月28日當週的讀經進度為《約伯記》11-20章,看詩歌書#3的視頻,並完成測驗。
2. 12月3日上午10:00-12:00有今年最後一次的同工會,我們將回顧今年,並且計劃明年的事工。請大家為此代禱。
3. 12月10日上午我們將去San Gabriel Mountains那裡健行,有意者請洽林建華弟兄。
4. 禱告會:歡迎每週三晚7:30的教會禱告會,讓我們舉起聖潔的手,一起來為國家、教會、宣教士以及彼此的需要代禱。
5. 肢體代禱:求神醫治福樂團契的Richard,也安慰福泉團契的Nancy姊妹,靠主重新得力。
