1. Welcome to FECC! Welcome to our family of faith as we gather to worship and honor our Lord Jesus Christ. As we do so, let us keep Jesus the focus of our time together, acknowledging our absolute dependence on Him for the days, weeks and months ahead. This morning, from Luke 11:2, we look into God, to whom we pray as we continue on our annual theme, “Lord, Teach Us To Pray.” If you have any prayer requests or concerns, please see Pastor David.
2. Directors and Deacons Installation: we are installing and praying for our 2026 Directors and Deacons. They have been confirmed as our leaders by our congregational meeting. Let us support them by working alongside of them and praying for their ministry and service.

5. Upcoming Events (mark your calendars)
today – 2026 Directors and Deacons Installation, Night Market Planning Meeting
January 16-18 – Prayer Conference (with Pastor Rick Fisher)
February 21 – Lunar New Year Night Market
6. Prayer Requests: (1) for us to grow in knowledge and intimacy with the God to whom we pray; (3) for the Prayer Conference to renew and energize our prayer life; (4) for our sisters and brothers who are traveling. May they be healthy, safe and enjoy their time away; (5) for a speedy and full recovery those who are dealing with injuries or illnesses. For Our World: (a) for peace and justice for our nation following two separate shootings involving immigration agents in Minneapolis, MN and Portland, OR. The shootings left on person dead and several injured; (b) for those affected and still rebuilding their lives on the first anniversary of the Palisades and Altadena fires; (c) for peace and calm around Alleppo, Syria, which is experiencing a worsening situation due to renewed clashes between government forces and Kurdish fighters. The clashes have sent thousands of civilians fleeing and leaving many dead; (d) for the ongoing violence in the West Bank. There have been reports of horrific violence injuries, property damage and use of force in places of worship; (e) for our sisters and brothers in Venezuela, who face uncertain future after the capture of Nicolas Maduro. The situation has caused millions to flee, creating a humanitarian crisis; (f) for Christians living in India, who have experienced increasing persecution, especially during the recent Christmas season; (g) for peace and resolution for the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Ethiopia (Tigray War and Oromia region). The wars continue to disrupt and displace lives, cause severe hunger and malnutrition.
