FECC FAMILY NEWS
November 9, 2025
1. Welcome to FECC! We are so thrilled that you joined us for worship today. We gather to give God praise and thanks for His presence and blessings in our lives. It is also a time for to seek His will for us. May we grow as individuals and as a community of faith that brings God glory in today’s challenging world. We pray that you will experience God and His presence in a new and fresh way today. If you are looking for a spiritual home, or have any prayer requests or concerns, please see your Congregational Pastor.
2. Thanksgiving Services, Sunday, November 23: join us for special Thanksgiving services throughout all our campus as we pause to give God thanks for all that He has done. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” (1 Chronicles 16:34). For more information, please see your Congregational Pastor.
3. New Bookkeeper: We give God thanks for providing Jason Spessert as our new bookkeeper. Pray for him as he learns and familiarizes himself to our bookkeeping needs and system.
4. Prayer Requests: (a) for our 2026 Deacons Board and Board of Directors as they prepare for next year. May the Lord use them to lead and serve our church. (b) for the Fullerton Campus as we celebrate their 13th Anniversary. (c) for God’s leading, provision and a quick disposition of our current legal case. (d) for our sisters and brothers who are dealing with health issues. For those traveling, whether on business or vacation.

1. Happy 13th Anniversary, FECC Fullerton! We are so thrilled that you joined us as we celebrate our 13th Anniversary. As we look back, we give God thanks for His presence and blessings through the years. It is also a time for vision casting and seeking God’s future for us. May we grow as a church so that we may bring God glory in today’s challenging world. Let us give thanks and praise to God, the Father, as we look for what He is yet to do in, for and through us. We are also honored to have Rev. Felix Liu (Logos Evangelical Seminary) preach from the Word of God today. May God richly bless you and yours as you worship today! 2. Individual Scripture Memorization Contest, today, 1:30PM: we invite you to join us for the individual competition today. Let us come together to support and encourage contestants as they commit God’s Word to heart. The fellowship group competition will take place on next, Sunday November 16 (registration deadline is today). Join us for these fun events, either as a participant or as an encourager for the participants.

Thanksgiving Combined Worship Service, Sunday, November 23, 10:30AM: we invite you to join us for this special worship service as we gather to give God thanks and praise for all that He has done and continues to do in our midst. We want to invite you to share your thanksgiving in small groups as we gather in worship. Invite your family and friends for this special service. For more information, please see one of our pastors. Join us for lunch fellowship after the service.

Prayer Requests: (1) for FECC Fullerton to glorify God in our families and community as we enter our fourteenth year of ministry; (2) for God’s wisdom and guidance as we move towards the future that God has for us; (3) for God’s leading, provision and a just and quick disposition of our current legal case; (4) for our sisters and brothers who are traveling. May they be healthy, safe and enjoy their time away; (5) for a speedy and full recovery those who are dealing with injuries or illnesses. For Our World: (a) for El Fasher, the last free city in Sudan’s Darfur region, which has endured a civil war that is decades old, but presently with fresh atrocities and violence; (b) for the federal lockdown to end swiftly. The lockdown has affected those who rely on SNAP for food (almost 42 million people). It has also caused flights to be cancelled or delayed due to air traffic control staffing shortages; (c) for Jamaica and the communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa, the most powerful storm in the nation’s history. The damage has made aid delivery difficult to those most in need; (d) for our sisters and brothers in the Philippines and Vietnam where Typhoon Kalmaegi killed at least 188 people and left a path of destruction and debris. The storm is now headed to Cambodia and Laos, with winds of 90+ mph; (e) for the injured by explosions in a mosque inside a high school complex during Friday prayers; (f) for the search and rescue effort for several hikers who are missing in Nepal after trying to climb a Himalayan peak in the north-east part of the country. Three climbers have been confirmed dead. The area has been hit by avalanches and ferocious storms this past week.
